Cataract
A cataract is a dense and cloudy area formed in the lens of the eye. Generally, it begins when the proteins in the eye clump and it prevents the lens from sending clear images to the retina. Cataracts can form in both eyes but may not be at the same time. The only way to stop the progress of the cataract is surgery. Through the surgery, the natural lens is taken out and an artificial lens is an artificial intraocular lens, also known as IOL. IOL is placed inside the eye. Phaco Cataract Surgery
